Exclusive to Avis Preferred members, these kiosks have been designed to revolutionise the pick-up process. Bypass the counter queue entirely and enjoy a completely automated experience.

Simply get your driving licence verified on the Avis App, scan a QR code and enter your date of birth to open the kiosk door, retrieve your keys and get on your way... in less than 30 seconds.

Avis self-service kiosks

At a growing number of Avis stations across Europe (listed below), you have the opportunity to get to your rental car even faster and more easily.

It all starts by signing up to our free loyalty programme, Avis Preferred. Members can then use the Avis app to complete their biometric verification. This means we don't need to do any paperwork at the counter.

Shortly before you arrive at an Avis station, you'll receive a QR code. Scan it at the self-service kiosk, enter your date of birth, and collect the keys for your vehicle. You will on your way in seconds.

The small print

• Driving licence/self ID verification is carried out by our partner Onfido.
• The identity check is carried out in the Avis app and is only available to Avis Preferred members.
• This verification is only possible for the main driver. If you would like to add additional drivers, they must show their driving licence at the counter.
• The verification is valid for a year*
