Road trips from Málaga

Granada
Venture up to the foothills of the snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountain range, which peaks just past Granada. Take a detour to the delightful village of Alhama de Granada, on the edge of a gorge, and relax at its myriad of outdoor terraces and tapas bars.

The medieval gem of Córdoba is about 2-hours’ drive inland from Málaga. The Mezquita, the Great Mosque of Córdoba is described as one of the world’s greatest Islamic buildings and dominates the town. Explore the narrow streets of the old Judería (Jewish quarter) and Muslim quarter beyond the great mosque, and if you’re visiting between April and June try to catch one of the town’s colourful fiestas.
Seville
Just 2 hours’ drive from Málaga, the Andalusian capital city of Seville's awaits. In the city centre you’ll find the impressive Cathedral and Giralda, and the Alcázar Palace. Museo del Baile Flamenco in the city’s old quarter is the place to see an authentic flamenco show.
