Child Seats

Avis stocks a range of quality baby, infant and child seats to fit the younger members of your family. Simply request the seats you need at the time of booking.

Reserve a seat online by ticking the Child Seat request box on the “Pricing and Optional Extras” page of the booking engine. Or, request a seat via our call centre or add one to an existing reservation by calling Avis direct.

If you are unsure which child seat would be the best fit, take a look at the general specifications further down this page.

Please note that in Belgium child seats are a legal requirement for children under 1,35 m.

Baby Seat

From birth to approx. 9 to 12 months
  • Minimum three-point safety harness with one pull adjustment
  • Extra padding to protect new-born babies' fragile backs
  • Padded head support and integral cushion for a natural sleeping position
  • Curved base for rocking or feeding
  • Chest pads for the child's comfort
  • Three-point seat belt installation
  • Side impact protection with deep softly padded side wings
  • Three-position carry handle

Please note that baby seats are available in Belgium only for babies from 12th months.
